Complex Examination (New Patient/Established Patient)

A thorough examination including dilation of pupils.
Detailed Examination (New Patient/Established Patient)
$275/$250
Less complex than the above. Most eye examinations are in this group.
Refraction
$115
Measurement for glasses.
Special Procedures
Cataract Surgery
$4,000
There is no extra charge for complexity, nor for the use of a premium lens. Includes 3 months of follow-up care.
Imaging
$180
OCT Nerve or Retina (includes retinal photograph)
Automated Perimetry
$180
A visual field examination (test of side vision)
Executive Procedure
Comprehensive "Wellness" Examination
$700
A complex examination which includes a refraction, perimetry and OCT. This examination will take about 1½ hours. Insurance may reimburse for a portion of this, if medically indicated, but most of this will be considered "Well Care", which is usually not covered.
